At low tide, white sand rises from clear water in changing shapes. From the boat, the colours shift from deep blue to turquoise and almost transparent shallows.
There may be no shade and very little sound beyond water, wind, and the boat at anchor.
A sandbank asks almost nothing of you except that you slow down enough to notice where you are.
Make the afternoon simple
